Stupid question, but here it goes: There's a guy I watch online who, for his show, takes on the persona of Dracula. His persona is quite different from the more famous depictions, as he plays kazoo, is not very intimidating, and is more comedic in nature. Most versions of Dracula, as you know, are intimidating, creepy, and sometimes confident in their ability to seduce women and stalk the nighttime world. So, here's what I was wondering: If you somehow were to hypnotize that guy I watch and tell him he was Dracula, would he be more likely to wake up after the suggestion and think he was his version Dracula or would he think he was the more traditional version of the character? Just something I was thinking of as I watched this. Would love to hear what you think. Have a good day.

This is stupid. Yes, some people can be hypnotized, not everybody. But not in this situation or setting, this is obviously nonsense. Hypnosis helped my sister through some serious trauma, I tried it and I wasn't able to be hypnotized. It's crazy, do some research.

I paid to get hypnotized to quit smoking. I never did "go under." I got a tingling sensation on one side only. And I was smoking again hours later. I'm not really believing this instantly asleep thing. Not st all.

Around 56 : 50 : I've noticed how easily we go into visualisation, or imagination : if , say, you're watching a film, or listening to a story, or even reading a story, your brain is in a "different mode" : you've switched from the "here-and-now" , to a an awareness . As he says, like day-dreaming. You " get into" the emotions of what you are hearing , as if it's occupying your attention more than your actual physical surroundings. Ghost stories and fairy stories are a good example... One thing we need to be wary of, though, is a hypnosis - like effect intentionally induced by religions.... Prayer is, imho, a type of self hypnosis...you are "open to suggestion". And when a congregation is asked to stay still, and listen, they most likely will go into a calm , relaxed state, and then, the myths and sometimes damaging ideas can be implanted....📖... 1st guy (Felipe) seemed to actively prevent the swing by focusing on the spot. Would his reaction have been different if he was told "if it starts swinging, let it move"?
